A Heartfelt Service at Holy Trinity Church & a Garden Party Celebration
There was something beautifully full-circle about the next chapter of Jhuliana and Erron's wedding renewal.
After a morning spent getting ready surrounded by family and friends, everyone made the short walk to Holy Trinity Church – quite literally just a stone's throw from Jhuliana's mum's house. It felt wonderfully fitting. This wasn't a celebration held in a grand venue chosen for a single day; it was rooted in the place where family gathers, memories are made, and life is lived.
The church was already buzzing with anticipation as guests took their seats. Soft afternoon light streamed through the windows, illuminating the ancient stone walls and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
One of my favourite moments of the day came before the service had even begun. Two flower girls, dressed in matching gowns and flower crowns, carefully made their way down the aisle scattering petals as they went. There was something so sweet and unselfconscious about their concentration as they carried out their important role, completely unaware that they were stealing everyone's hearts.
The ceremony itself was full of emotion. Wedding renewals carry a different kind of weight to a traditional wedding day. The promises being made aren't based on hopes and dreams for the future; they're made with the knowledge of everything a couple has already weathered together. Every smile, every glance, every hand squeeze felt layered with years of shared experiences.
As Jhuliana made her way into the church, accompanied by her mum, there was an undeniable sense of joy. Laughter came easily throughout the service, balanced by quieter moments of reflection and gratitude. Friends and family watched on, many with misty eyes, witnessing not the beginning of a marriage but the celebration of one that has already stood the test of time.
After the vows were renewed and the final blessing given, the congregation spilled out into the sunshine before making the short journey back to Jhuliana's mum's house.
And this is where the day truly settled into its own rhythm.
The garden had been transformed into the most relaxed and welcoming reception space. Guests gathered beneath the summer sky, catching up over food and drinks while children ran freely between tables. There was no rush, no rigid timeline, just the simple pleasure of being together.
These are often my favourite kinds of celebrations to photograph. The formalities are over, shoulders relax, and people simply enjoy each other's company. Conversations unfold in shady corners of the garden. Laughter drifts across the lawn. Generations mingle together. The photographs become less about events and more about connection.

As the afternoon continued, I found myself drawn to the small moments that often tell the story best: family members sharing memories, guests lingering over drinks, children weaving between adults, and Jhuliana and Erron soaking in every moment of the celebration they had created.
Their wedding renewal was a reminder that the most meaningful celebrations aren't always the grandest. Sometimes they're held in a church around the corner from your childhood home, followed by a garden party filled with the people who know and love you best.
And honestly, that's pretty perfect.
Holy Trinity Church provided a beautiful setting for Jhuliana and Erron's renewal ceremony, while the garden reception at her mum's home created the most relaxed and personal atmosphere for celebrating with family and friends. It was such a privilege to document this chapter of their story.
